We want Orange Boot Bakery to be a positive fixture in the community. And to us, that means more than making sure you are well fed.
We opened the bakery in an actual neighbourhood rather than a big box shopping zone because we wanted to make a strong connection with the people who live where we work. So it only makes sense that we want to help you with YOUR community work. Maybe we can’t lead community projects anymore, but we can help.
Day Old Bread Donations
Community groups whose mission is to feed those who are hungry are welcome to our day old bread. We currently offer our day old bread to groups like Chili for Children, Traditional Grandmothers Guidance Centre and the Regina Food Bank.
If you are part of a group like this and can make use of day old bread please contact Cindy at the bakery at 306-584-2668. Our preference is for organizations who can pick up bread on a regular (weekly) basis but we are open to other ideas.

Reloadable Bread Baskets
We offer reloadable bread baskets for fund raisers for non profit organizations. These decorative baskets contain a selection of our hand made bread along with a certificate for one free refill.
These baskets are great for raffle tables, silent auctions and the like and have a suggested retail value of over $40.
Some rules with the baskets:
- We need at least two weeks notice to schedule the basket in our work schedule.
- To ensure fresh bread for the winner, the basket needs to be picked up on the day of your event.
- We want to say yes to all requests, but at times we may have to limit the number we give out in a week. So it’s best to get your requests in early.
Please note that we only give donations to events which help the wider community as opposed to donations for personal benefit.
Fighting AIDS in Regina (or in Africa) — great.
Fundraisers for a school band trip — not a good fit for us.
